Our 2024 Pool Rules   It's that time of year again for the 33rd Annual Football Pools COVID Update All Entry Fees MUST be received before by the Start of Week 1. If the 2023 NFL Season is Cancelled before Week 8, we will cancel the pool and your 2023 Entry Fees will go towards the 2024 Season (I will not be sending refunds). If the 20232 NFL Season plays at least 8 weeks and is then cancelled we will consider it a Full season and the current standings will be Final. If a game in the 2023 Season is Forfeited / Cancelled,  anyone who picked that team will get a LOSS,  for the Margin Pool they will get -7pts.  Anyone who picked the team that did not forfeit will get a the Win and be considered covering the spread where applicable.  For the Margin Pool they will get +7pts   Season Pool Rules Rule 1: The Pool is located at WWW.FALZONE1.Com/Pools/Index3.htm Rule 2: You will pick the Winners for EVERY Game played that week by the Spread. Rule 3: ALL Picks MUST be in by Thursday @ 7:00 P.M. or you get a ZERO !!! If for some reason the Internet site is down you can E-Mail your picks to Pool @ FALZONE1.Com. This is the ONLY address that I will check for picks. Rule 4: On the Weeks when there is a Thursday Game ALL Picks for that week will be due by 7:00 P.M. on that Thursday. Thanksgiving Week ALL picks are due Wednesday at 7:00pm ET Rule 5: On the Weeks when there is a Saturday Game & NO Thursday Game ALL Picks for that week will be due by 12:00 p.m. on that Saturday. Rule 6: On the MONDAY Night Game you will also have to pick the Total Amount of points scored in the game. This is in case of a Tie for the Weekly Winner. In the event of a Tie, it is the Player who comes closes to the Total Points scored  in the game without going over, if all Players go over then it's the closes to.   Rule 7: There will be Prizes for the TOP 3 People (Possibly the Top 10 people depending on the amount of people in the Pool) There is also a Weekly Winner. Rule 8: All Prizes (Weekly & Top People) will be given out at the END of the Season Rule 9: The Season Starts on Thursday September 7th, 2023. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pick 1 Pool Rules Rule 1: You must pick a team that is playing in a game that week, no point spreads are used. Rule 2: If the team you pick loses/ties you are OUT of the Pool. Rule 3: If the team you pick wins you go on to the following week to make another pick Rule 4: You can only pick each team ONCE. Rule 5: If on a give week all remaining players pick a loser then those players will all remain in the Pool. Rule 6: The Last person left wins the Pot. If there is a tie after 18 Weeks then those players will SPLIT the Pot.   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Margin Pool Rules A Margin Pool is similar to a Pick1 Pool in some ways. With the Margin Pool, you only have a one-time pool fee, You pick one team each week, no point spreads are in use. You can only pick each team once. If the team wins, the winning margin, or margin of victory is added to your season point total.  If his team loses, then the winning margin is subtracted from your season point total. The pool member that has the most points at the end of the season is the winner. Total wins are used as a tiebreaker. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- High 5 Pool Rules High 5 Pool - Each week you select 5 games. Point spread is used. You can't pick both teams playing in a game. You must select who you think will win based on the point spread. The more games you win, the greater the points earned. 1 win = 1 pt, 2 wins = 3 pts, 3 wins= 5 pts, 4 wins=7 pts, 5 wins = 11 pts. Most points at the end of the Season wins the pot. Tie Breaker- Player guessing closest to the total points scored in final game of the Season.  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Loser Pool Rules Rule 1: You must pick a team that is playing in a game that week, no point spreads are used. Rule 2: If the team you pick Wins / Ties you are OUT of the Pool. Rule 3: If the team you pick loses you go on to the following week to make another pick Rule 4: You can only pick each team ONCE. Rule 5: If on a give week all remaining players pick a winner then Those players will all remain in the Pool. Rule 6: The Last person left wins the Pot. If there is a tie after 17 Weeks then those players will SPLIT the Pot. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   Parlay Card Pool Rules Each week players can select a Min. 2 games and a Max. of 5 games.  The more games you select the bigger the odds.  If 1 of the teams looses you lose the Parley Card bet.   There will also be 3 individual bets that "pay" out odds 1 to 1.  So each week a player can bet 1 to 4 items (Parley Card and 3 Single best).  The Max bet one each game is 500 points but the amount in your bank will indicate how much you can bet.  You can never bet  more than the available Bank. Example: In Week 1 everyone's bank is set to 3000 Points.  The player can bet 200 points on the Parley Card, 500 Points on 1 single bet and 250 points on another single bet.  Or just do one bet of 250 on a single game.  There is some strategy since you are eliminated from  this pool once your bank goes down to Zero.   This is like the old Football Card if you ever played one of those   The winner is the the player with the most points left in their bank at the end of the season. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "33" Pool Rules The premise is simple. The  target number of points a team needs to score in a week is "33" exactly.  The team you are assign random team each week.  The pool will display how many times a player won in a week where their assigned team for that week hit the 33 points.   The Player who's teams hit the most will win the Pool, if there is a tie those players will split the pot. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good Luck! & Enjoy The Pools!
